State of Ohio to Sues Exit Company for Failing to Deliver on Their Promises

Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has filed a lawsuit in Montgomery County against two New Jersey–based timeshare “exit” companies—TS Relief Group and TS Holding Unlimited—for failing to deliver on their promised services.

  • What they promised: These firms claimed to negotiate with timeshare companies to help consumers exit their contracts within 90 days, taking upfront payments during high‑pressure sales pitches.
  • What actually happened: They repeatedly delayed or never provided any services. Meanwhile, consumers continued being billed by their timeshare companies.
  • Financial impact: Seven customers lost a combined total of $68,239.
  • Legal remedies sought: The state is requesting restitution for defrauded consumers and penalties up to $25,000 per violation.
